Larry's Core Values and Core Purpose
Who am I and where am I heading?
Core Values
I operate under a set of core values that are central to who I am. They are based on Jesus command to love God with all we are and our neighbor as ourselves.
Honesty: My role is to listen to your wants and needs, to find the best solution for your situation and to package it in a manner acceptable and sellable to the lender.
Fairness: The loan should be in your best interest and at a reasonable rate. The lender should feel good about the packaging and profitability of the loan. Any referral partner should feel great about being involved, and I should feel proud to have been a part of it, make a fair profit for my time and get multiple referrals.
Integrity: Personally: to conduct my life under a set moral standard as defined by scripture. In business: to operate under the guidelines set forth by the CMPS, State and Federal regulations and the lenders; looking out for my client’s best interests, and protecting all parties from regulatory violations. I should be able to face any client, referral partner or lender at any time and know that I have nothing to hide or fear.
Devotion: being set apart from the norm; conducting business at a level of professionalism and quality that “wows” everybody involved and draws attention towards God.
Humility: trusting that as I put God and the needs of my family, clients and business partners first, God will use others to take care of my needs.
Compassion: Today many of my clients have equity in their home and overwhelming debt. We can help them to lower their debt with a fair and reasonable profit based on the value of work performed and not on greed.
At the core of my values and purpose as a Christian, American and businessmen is the desire to help the poor and needy of the world. God has chosen to partner with me. I need to be a willing participant.
Love: In the context of business, it involves making it easy for others to do business with me and to leave a desire of wanting to do business again. It involves putting all of the above values into action. As scripture states’…the greatest of these is love”.
Core Purpose
My mission is to give you a mortgage experience where you are at ease, can trust that your best interests are being looked out for and feel comfortable referring friends, family and clients to me.
- Make it easy for people to want to do business with me and to look for ways to refer additional business to me.
One of the greatest hurdles buyers have in selecting a new company to do business with is trust, or the fear of making a bad decision. The easier it is to attract and keep new clients and referral partners, and for them to want to refer others to me, the more time I have to be able to spend meeting the needs of clients and helping my referral partners.
- Provide appropriate products and services that meet real needs of my clients.
By asking questions and learning about their situation, goals and comfort level, I can provide them with a product and service that meets, or exceeds, their needs at a price that is fair.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all levels.
There are many ‘customers” involved; from the client who actually is the beneficiary of the transaction, to all suppliers, referral partners, co-workers and even future potential referrals. The transaction can break down due to many unforeseen events. By having systems and safeguards in place, I am able to provide excellent customer service, even when I can’t control all of the events within a transaction
- The outcome of every transaction is win/win. All parties are in a better position, and they know it.
Ideally everyone walks away from a transaction feeling good about it. It provides a great solution at a fair price with outstanding service.
- To become a conduit to further the kingdom of Heaven on earth both in time and finances.
Out of thanks for what Christ has done for me, and being obedient to his commands, a core tenant to being in business must be to be a good steward with the resources God has given. I provide finances for worthy causes and make sure that I have time for family and ministry. Prayerfully, increased finances are an outcome of helping others, not something that needs to be painstakingly strived after.
